Solo exhibition @ Tiny Affairs, April 22, 2016

Knocky three times. A Calderesque folding sky in case we don’t need it right now. It always carries wind. I wasn’t frightened when I built the other ship, but because I saw it on a painting inside the lovely death lamp. It must be the ship Matthew-Robin talked of when we sat on the beach, it’s loaded with all the news I didn’t read. Behind the third is someone who read the text. Behind the third is a father. Behind the third Sara continues.

Tiny Affairs is an exhibition space on the nails of artist Sara Sandfær. At the opening of Naglfar, Sara was to be found in the kitchen of her private home. Banke tre gange. En Calderesque himmel der kan klappes sammen til hvis vi ikke skal bruge den lige nu. Den har altid vind. Jeg var ikke bange da jeg byggede det andet skib, men også fordi jeg så det på et maleri i den yndige dødelampe. Det må være det skib Matthew-Robin fortalte om da vi sad på stranden, det er lastet med alle de aviser jeg ikke har læst. Bag den tredje er der en der har læst teksten. Bag den tredje er der en far. Bag den tredje fortsætter Sara.
